We are staying at The Swan and have 5-day Park Hopper tickets (7 family members). Approximately how long does it take to travel from one park to the other parks. Magic Kingdom seems to be the furthest distance, but can you please give me some specifics?

    Hi Joyce!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I love your choice of resort. Disney's Boardwalk area is our favorite place to stay during our visits to Walt Disney World Resort. Being able to walk or take a ferry into Disney's Hollywood Studios and Epcot is priceless! Strolling around the Boardwalk makes for a very magical evening, too.

Travel time between parks will vary depending on how long you wait for a bus or ferry and how much traffic there is on the road.  If I have a reservation for something, I allow myself at least one hour of travel time between parks.  Mostly likely, it will be closer to 30 minutes.  Even though Epcot and Hollywood Studios are very close to each other, the Friendship ferry boats will take about 20-30 minutes to make all the stops between the parks.

Here is a link to information about water transportation at Walt Disney World Resort as well as bus routes and monorail options.

I hope this helps!  Please let me know if you have any other questions.
