Hi Joseph! Welcome to planDisney.
I’m staying at the
Walt Disney World Swan Hotel in a few months too! My whole family is so excited to stay at this resort hotel, with its amazing location in Disney’s BoardWalk area, walking distance to EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios…and have you seen
the pool? It’s a tropical paradise! I’m raising a frosty umbrella drink to both of our stays!
As part of the phased reopening of the Walt Disney World Resort,
dining reservations may be made 60 days in advance of the check-in date for Guests at Disney Resorts Collection hotels and select partner hotels, including the Swan. The window opens up online at 6:00 a.m. Mickey time (that’s Eastern Standard Time). I like to be ready a few minutes early, logged in to
My Disney Experience, and ready to go! My advice is to be flexible with times, as capacity is limited in restaurants. If you don’t find the availability you had hoped for, don’t give up – keep checking in the app. As a military family, we are often making plans at the last minute, and I have found so many fantastic reservations a day or two before, when many Guests are changing their plans.
I’m sending pixie-dust that you can make some great plans for your
Walt Disney World dining on your summer vacation, Joseph! As you count down the days to your visit, be sure to read the Disney Parks Blog for the latest news and tips for visiting the parks this summer. Did you see that
more dining options are returning? I can’t wait to return to
Cape May Café – my family had a blast there, and it’s a short walk from the Walt Disney World Swan Hotel.
Thanks for stopping by planDisney! If you think of any more questions as you make your plans, please come back and see us.
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
