We will be staying from Sunday, June 4 to Wednesday, June 7. When will there be fireworks at Disneyland?

    Hello, Jennifer!

You are on a planning roll! Thanks for letting me be your sidekick while we plan your super visit to the Disneyland Resort. I hope you're ready for some pixie dust because nighttime spectaculars are where things get really magical!

When it comes to shows and fireworks the Hours & Events Calendar is the best resource! Currently, we can only see dates through mid-May. But the schedule is released on a rolling basis so I expect we'll be able to see dates in June in just a couple of weeks! You can take a peek at current dates to get an idea of what might be offered when you're there, but we won't know for sure until the calendar is released. Even then, entertainment is always subject to change so you'll want to use the Disneyland Mobile App when you're in the parks to keep updated on that day's events!

Knowing that you're visiting in June, I think it's safe to say you will likely have a chance to experience most or all of the nighttime spectaculars at the Disneyland Resort. That will probably include:

    • Wondrous Journeys at Disneyland Park! This gorgeous show includes fireworks on some nights (weather permitting) but even without the fireworks it is stunning! The buildings of Main Street, U.S.A., Sleeping Beauty Castle, and "it's a small world" become the canvas for 100 years of Disney animation and storytelling.
    • Fantasmic! Follow Mickey through his dreams as he proves that nothing is more powerful than the imagination. I've been watching this one for decades and it's still my all-time favorite. Mickey delivers a few fireworks, too! I love using a dining package to help get a great seat for this one!
    • World of Color - ONE at Disney California Adventure Park! This new version of World of Color celebrates the ability of one person to make a difference. It is a beautiful show with fountains, pyrotechnics, projections, and so much heart! My favorite way to view the show is by reserving the World of Color Dessert Party (I see availability for your dates!), or you can make reservations for a dining package or join a virtual queue.
I have had so much fun answering your planning questions, Jennifer! If you think of anything else I hope you will send me a note here, I would be happy to help you! Sending you all my pixie dust for safe travels and a completely wonderful vacation!

    Keep moving forward!
