Hello! We are staying this summer at Riviera, and I am wondering a) is it quicker to use Skyliner to Epcot and HS or to walk and b) I can't tell from the Skyliner maps which direction the gondolas go or whether you have to transfer ever. Thanks!

    Hello, Suzanne,

Thank you for sending your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  How incredible that you are staying at Disney's Riviera Resort this summer.  It is a beautiful resort and so amazing; I love that its inspiration is the French and Italian Riviera.  What I also really appreciate about it is the celebration of art throughout the resort, especially since it all has a Disney twist. If you see one you like, the gift shop has many copies of the art available so you can bring home a bit of the magic of your resort home with you.

The Disney Skyliner is a wonderful addition to Walt Disney World as it helps transport guests to Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios with stops at your resort, Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, and Disney's Art of Animation Resort/Disney's Pop Century Resort.   The ride is not only peaceful and relaxing, but the views are amazing.  It really feels like an attraction.

Since there is not a walking path to the theme parks from your resort, you will want to take the Skyliner to Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios.  It is a direct line to/from your resort to Epcot and will take 5-7 minutes.  To travel to/from Disney's Hollywood Studios, it will take about 6-8 minutes of ride time; you will need to transfer at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort Station.

Wishing you a magical trip!  Please let us know if we can help with any further questions. -Kara
