    We are staying in a suite with multiple families. How can we use our magic band to pay using our credit card but each all have our own cards. (My band uses my card, my sister wants to charge to her card). Is this possible?

    Oh my goodness, how excited are you to have booked a visit to Walt Disney World Resort? You are in for such a treat, with so many exciting attractions and restaurants to enjoy during your vacation! Speaking of treats, did you know that your visit lines up with the incredible EPCOT International Festival of the Arts? This festival truly is a feast for all the senses, making it a crowd favorite at Walt Disney World and, in my opinion, an absolute must-do!

    Purchases made through Walt Disney World using your MagicBand are charged directly to your Disney Resorts Collection room folio. Then, at the end of the trip, the room folio can be paid via a credit card. Unfortunately, there is no way to make charges directly on a credit card using a MagicBand, so ALL MagicBand charges made by Guests in your room would be put together under your cumulative room account. Now, when you’re ready to check out, you can get a printout of your charges and then work with a Cast Member at the front desk to split up the amount charged per credit card by family. But I know that may not be the most convenient thing to do.

    To make things easier, I recommend picking up some Disney Gift Cards to bring with you on your trip. This way, you can provide a set amount that each family member can spend, which is a great way to ensure everyone has the freedom to make purchases and order food items without overspending. I love using Disney Gift Cards whenever I visit. They really help me stay on budget and stop me from buying every snack in sight! This is not easy to do, given all the incredible food available throughout Walt Disney World! You can even add the Disney Gift Cards to your phone’s digital wallet, so you don’t need to worry about taking out the card with each purchase. How great is that?
