Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Carla!
Your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort is coming up so soon! The theme parks, resorts, and Disney Springs are so beautiful right now, with the
merriest holiday decorations and delicious Christmas treats at every turn. You are going to have such a jolly holiday!
It sounds like you’re a tea drinker like me, and I’m here to help make sure you get your cup. For me, those first sips of a hot cup of tea (or coffee) are just like a sprinkle of pixie dust – they give me energy and make me feel a little more magical so I can make the most of every minute of my Disney trip.
First, let’s talk about milk. You will certainly be able to purchase a half-gallon or smaller size container of milk at your resort’s Quick-Service or merchandise location; at
Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort, you’ll want to visit the
End Zone Food Court for your milk. I’m happy to confirm that there is a dorm-sized refrigerator in the room at Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort. (Helpful hint: You can always view which amenities are available in your Disney resort hotel room by clicking "View Amenities" on the
Room Rates tab of a resort's web page.)
As for a kettle, they are not allowed in the resort hotel rooms for fire code reasons. It’s always worth asking a Cast Member at the front desk to see if they have any available, but I would expect that they’re not able to provide one. At the End Zone Food Court, you’ll find a hot water spigot which you can use to heat up a cup of tea, and tea is available for purchase. If you’ll be on the
Disney Dining Plan, hot tea, coffee, and hot cocoa refills are included with your Resort Refillable Mug.
Carla, enjoy every magical moment of your upcoming visit to the Walt Disney World Resort. As you count down the days, be sure to read the
Disney Parks Blog for the very latest news, and please come back and see us if you think of any more questions.
Wishing you a merry and magical vacation,
Robyn
