Hey Howdy Hey Taylor and welcome to planDisney!
While the parks are an amazing time and super fun, I love experiencing the resorts! Disney Resort hotels have amazing amenities to check out and experience and is a great way to spend a day between the thrills of the parks. I am happy to hear you will be dining at other resorts and will be happy to give you some tips on navigating to and from them.
One way to do this is by utilizing
Resort Transportation. This is free to use and comes in many different forms. The only downside is that Resort Transportation does not run from resort to resort. Depending on where your dining reservation is though, you may be able to take a bus to a park and then a different form of transportation to your dining reservation. So maybe a bus to Magic Kingdom and then the
Walt Disney World Monorail to get to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort or a bus to Disney's Hollywood Studios and then
Disney Skyliner to Disney's Riviera Resort. This can be a fun way to experience different transportation options and kids love them!
Your other option is more of a direct way but does come with an extra cost. This would be with rideshares or
Minie Van Service. These can come in handy especially if you are under a time crunch and will be the quicker ways to get to and from each. Minnie Vans are available through the Lyft app and are super unique and fun ways to get around the resorts by Disney Cast Members.
I am always and advocate for Resort Transportation whenever possible because of how unique your options are. Often I will make an excuse to visit a resort just because a ride on Disney Skyliner is never a bad one! Let us know if you have any other questions and I hope you have a Magical time during your vacation.
To Infinity and Beyond,
Nick
