Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Joy!
I see your visit to
Disney's All-Star Sports Resort is right around the corner – how wonderfully exciting!
Now, more than ever, it's an amazing time to visit Walt Disney World Resort, and I know you are going to love every magical moment of your vacation.
I nursed each of my Mouseketeers for a full year, and I pumped just about every place you can imagine, so I love that you're thinking ahead to be sure you have everything you need to feed your precious baby. You'll find
Baby Care Centers in each theme park, equipped with supplies and a space for nursing and pumping.
As much as Queen Elsa would love to create a personal flurry for all the pumping mommas, she has a lot on her plate right now with all her royal duties. I checked in with ice expert Kristoff, and he has some suggestions for keeping your milk nice and cold during those warm Disney days. Definitely consult Walt Disney World's
Park Rules to be sure your cooler complies with the size guidelines, and also note that loose ice is not permitted. The refrigerator in your resort room will not include a freezer, so you should pack resealable bags that you can fill with ice from the ice machine, which you'll find on each floor of your hotel. You can use that in your cooler to chill the milk. Throughout the day, if you need fresh ice, you can stop at any Quick-Service dining location to request more. You may also want to check in with Bell Services at the resort to see if they're able to freeze your reusable ice pack. I can't promise that they will be able to do that, but it's worth checking.
I hope you and your family have a wonderful time on your visit later this month, Joy! I love to read the
Disney Parks Blog as we count down the days, because they share so many great stories, news, and tips – I'm always adding new treats to my "to-try" list thanks to their snack-tastic reporting!
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
