Mom And Daughter Resort Room

    We are staying in the All Star Sports. We have reservations for breakfast (10:25am) at Chef Mickeys on Friday 9/3/10. At what time should I leave the hotel to arrive to the reservation on time? And, can we use Disney transportation to get there? Thanks!

    Hi Maura!  The quickest way to reach the Contemporary resort where the great Chef Mickey dining is located is via a car or taxi. This trip would take approximately 15 minutes so I would suggest you leave using this mode of transportation between 9:45 and 10:00am.

    However, you can indeed take Disney bus transportation to reach your destination.  The most convenient way is to catch the Magic Kingdom bus and either walk from the Magic Kingdom to the Contemporary resort or catch the monorail which will have its first stop being that resort.  I suggest you walk since the buses will drop you off on the side closest to the Contemporary and to catch the monorail you would need to head in the opposite direction and then wait for the next resort one to come along. In other words walking will be faster!

    By taking the bus you need to plan on at least 45 minutes for the trip. To be safe and to build in wait time for buses I suggest you leave no later then 9:10am (at the bus stop) for the 10:25am reservation.  It is better to reach restaurants early and check in then rush and run to get there. Enjoy!
