Ka-chow, Neysa, and welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad you
raced by with your question!
It's time to start your engines, my friend, because there's just one more sleep until you arrive at The Most Magical Place on Earth! Neysa, I know from experience how excited you must be feeling right now. It's like every second is filled with pixie dust and impatience!
Now,
Disney's All-Star Sports Resort is such a fun place to stay, and I'm sure your visit will be a
total slam dunk. But exploring everything Walt Disney World has to offer is one of my favorite hobbies, and I'm so happy to help you plan this spectacular, supercharged side quest!
Neysa,
Disney's Art of Animation Resort is a great place to visit, especially if you have a
Cars fan in your party. Wandering around this section of the resort really feels like stepping into Radiator Springs! You'll find the Cozy Cone Pool, the Wheel Well Motel, and even life-size versions of Lightning McQueen and his friends. Until
Piston Peak finally opens over at Magic Kingdom, this is your best chance to catch your automotive amigos in Disney World.
Now here's the important part. In order to park at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, you will need a valid experience reservation or
Advance Dining Reservation at that resort. Since Art of Animation doesn't offer a table-service restaurant or any eligible experience, you won't be able to
park your car there. I know this wasn't the answer you were hoping for, but I do still have some good news!
Instead of parking at the resort, you can park your car at Disney's Hollywood Studios (
parking is complimentary for registered Disney resort guests) and then take to the skies on the
Disney Skyliner for your journey to Art of Animation. This is a particularly great experience if your Mouseketeer is also a fan of
Planes! Be aware that you'll need to transfer gondolas at
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. As an alternative, you can always take your
resort bus to Hollywood Studios and avoid driving at all!
I hope this information is helpful, Neysa, and that your upcoming stay is the thrill of a lifetime! If you have any other questions as you approach the starting line, you know
where to find me right here at planDisney.
Off to the races,
Allison
