Hi Caroline,
You are in for a treat! Breakfast at
Kona Cafe is one of the best ways to start a day at
Walt Disney World. The Tonga Toast is famous, but I'm partial to The Samoan, poached eggs with hollandaise over pulled pork hash.
As you might imagine, parking is at a premium at the resorts on the Magic Kingdom monorail. Parking is limited to guests staying at the resort and those with dining reservations. However, diners are usually limited to a couple of hours in the lots.
My suggestion would be to drive to the
Magic Kingdom parking lot. Once you walk or take the tram to the Transportation and Ticket Center, you can catch the resort monorail for one stop to the Great Ceremonial House at the
Polynesian Village Resort for your Kona breakfast. Or I would probably just walk from the TTC to the restaurant along the connecting pathway. It should only take you a few minutes.
After breakfast, you can hop on the monorail and be at the entrance to Magic Kingdom is about 5 minutes.
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. Please let us know if we can help in any other way as you make your plans. Enjoy!
