I am staying at All Star Music and was wondering if when using their laundry does it only take cash or is there other way to pay to use the washer and dryer?

    Hey there, Melissa!

Welcome to planDisney! I'm so happy you stopped by with your question today. It's my pleasure to help you plan your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World Resort.

I see you have a question about Disney's All-Star Music Resort. The All-Star Resorts hold a special place in my heart. They were the very first resort I took my family to on our first trip to Walt Disney World. Seeing my son's face light up at the larger-than-life theming is a memory I cherish. One of my personal favorite things at this resort is the comfortable mattresses. Melissa, would you believe me if I told you I looked at the tags on the mattress and pillows because I slept so well? Now I have a little bit of magic every night in the comfort of my own home. We've enjoyed this resort many times over the years, and on several occasions, we've used the laundry services.

I'm happy to share that All-Star Music Resort offers a self-service laundry room, fully equipped with washers and dryers. The last time I checked, the cost was $3.25 per wash, though prices are subject to change. Laundry detergent is available for purchase. Most credit and debit cards are accepted. If you need help or run into any issues while using the facilities, a Cast Member at the front desk will be happy to assist.

Here are some of my bonus tips for doing laundry onsite: While my husband enjoys the pool with the boys, I start a load and then pop back and forth to switch it over. This way, laundry doesn't cut into our park time, and we can make the most of our stay. It's also a great idea to do laundry during a midday break. I like to bring my own laundry detergent and dryer sheets. My favorite tip is to pack a pop-up laundry hamper. They're easy to carry and make transferring clothes a breeze. I've also used a king-size pillowcase as a hamper, and it works just as well. Finally, bring a little dish soap. My family tends to make some impressive spills, and it's perfect for pre-treating stains in your room before heading to the laundry.

Melissa, thank you so much for reaching out today. I've enjoyed helping you and reminiscing about all the wonderful times I've had at Disney's All-Star Music Resort. I can't wait for you to create your own magical memories.

    Your personal planning companion,
    Michelle
