Welcome back to Disney Parks Moms Panel, Elizabeth!
You are going to love your stay at
Disney's All-Star Music Resort! For the last 12 years, I have stayed at that resort each spring with my senior class, and it truly feels like home away from home. We love the quality, variety and convenience of menu items at Intermission Food Court, and the whimsy of both the Guitar-Shaped Pool and the Piano Pool. It's a great resort!
Like you, my family ships a box or two of supplies to whichever Walt Disney World Resort hotel we'll be calling home during our stay. Shelf-stable beverages, sunscreen and snacks take up so much luggage space, and shipping liquids means that we may even be able to avoid having to check a bag. The mini-fridge in each resort room means that you'll be able to enjoy cold beverages, in room, throughout your stay. So convenient!
You'll find information regarding
mail services, including receiving mail, on WDW's website. In short, include the mailing address of your resort, your name, your date of arrival, and be sure that the mailing address "clearly features the word "Guest" on the front". Your package will be held until your arrival. At check-in, ask if your package has arrived if the Cast Member assisting you does not mention it. A $5 per package handling fee may apply. We address our packages something like this:
Disney's All-Star Music Resort
1801 West Buena Vista Drive
Lake Buena Vista, Florida 32830-8436
ATTN: ______________ (Full name)
GUEST: Arriving_________ (Arriving through departing dates)
Have so much fun planning your next adventure, Elizabeth!
Send more questions as you think of them; we love to help!
