We are staying at All Star Music for our trip in from March 28-April 4 2009 and are planning on doing 1park/day becaues we have the magic your way base ticket. If we go to a water park does that just count as our park for the day?

    Hi Brandy!
The magic your way base ticket will not give you admission to either of the water parks. With this ticket, you can only get into Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios or Animal Kingdom. If you would like to visit one of the water parks, you will either need to buy separate admission for the park, or you can add the 'Water Park, Fun & More' option to your tickets.
Adding the option to your current tickets would cost about fifty dollars per ticket, but it will grant you admission to both theme parks and DisneyQuest in Downtown Disney. The amount of visits you're allowed will be based on the amount of days on your tickets. For example, if you have a 5-day magic your way ticket, you will get 5 visits to the water parks and DisneyQuest.
However, if you are only planning on visiting one water park, it would be most economical for you to just purchase a separate ticket for whichever one you choose. As of January 2009 single day tickets to the water parks are about $39 for adults and $33 for kids ages 3-9. Have fun!
