We are staying at the All Star Music in September and have reservations for the BBB in Downtown Disney for some princess magic at 9am. What is the easiest and quickest way to get there, and how much time should we plan to then go back to MKD for the day.

    Hi Susan,

What fun your princess will have at the magical Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique! Our now 7-year-old begs to experience her princess makeover with each visit to Walt Disney World. Because you've asked the easiest and quickest way to Downtown Disney, I am inclined to suggest a taxi. You can secure one at the Valet by 8:30 a.m. at the front entrance of Disney's All Star Music. For around $15 or so, you'll have peace of mind arriving timely to your appointment. Technically, the buses to Downtown Disney are supposed to start running at 8:30 a.m. I have firsthand experience where the buses might be running a bit late at this hour of the day. For the peace of mind, the cost of the taxi will far outweigh the stress of waiting for a bus and/or running late to your appointment.

You may want to explore Downtown Disney afterwards before heading back to the bus stop. Check the park calendar to determine Magic Kingdom hours for that specific day. Typically, the hours run quite late in the evening for Magic Kingdom. If you intend to go straight to MK, take a bus to a MK resort on the monorail: Grand Floridian, Polynesian or Contemporary. Once you arrive at these resorts, it's a simple monorail ride over to the front of MK. It's a very fun mode of transportation!

I hope I answered your questions, Susan, and please feel free to visit us again.

Best wishes for a MAGICAL vacation!
