Stacey from CA Asked Note: This answer was provided prior to the change to planDisney and may still contain references to Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I am staying at the all star music resort, 1st week of April. I have a fast pass for 9:25am at the M.K. I have no car. What time should I anticipate catching a shuttle from our hotel? Should I take a Lyft? What about security lines?

Hi, Stacey! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Let's get you waltzing over to the Magic Kingdom Park for your magical Disney day!

Disney's All-Star Resorts are so much fun! My son especially loves the football field at Disney's All-Star Sports Resort, while the giant guitars at Disney's All-Star Music Resort are a favorite of this rock'n'roll fan. Like all of Disney's Resort hotels, complementary bus transportation from your Resort serves all four Theme Parks and Disney Springs. The buses to the Theme Parks officially start running about 45 minutes before opening, so be sure to check the Park hours for the date you're visiting. Also, Magic Kingdom allows Guests to enter and enjoy Main Street, U.S.A, about an hour before the actual Park opening, so I'd check with the Resort concierge for the exact time buses will start picking up Guests heading there.

When you hop off the bus at the Magic Kingdom, you'll go through security before heading to the main entrance. It should only take a few minutes, but if you want to save some time, you can try going bagless and skip the screening line.

And remember, Stacey, if your FastPass+ time is 9:25 a.m., that means you have until 10:25 a.m. to tap your MagicBand or card at the attraction entrance. You'll have plenty of time to make it from your Resort hotel to your first attraction, so hakuna matata - no worries! Just relax and enjoy your visit to the Magic Kingdom!

I hope this helps you plan your Disney day, Stacey. Please stop by and see us again if you have any more questions!

    Keep Disney Dreaming,

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
