We are staying at All Star Music resort, I've read alot of dislikes on the stays in the last couple of months. Everyone says to ask for a newly renovated building. Just called and that can only be 11 days out. Should I just pay the $400 more for AOA.

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Natalie! I’m glad to hEAR about your upcoming vacation to the Most Magical Place on Earth! The All-Star Resorts are perfect places to lie your head between Parks visits. My family has been very comfortable at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resorts, nestled into the Herbie buildings.

While the All-Star Resorts are currently undergoing major room refreshes, you may want to try Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort (Music and Sports are next to get refreshments), or Disney’s Pop Century Resort which are finished (or just about) being remodeled and therefore ups your chance of getting  a refurbished room. I think you’ll love the incredibly comfortable Murphy Beds with plush new pillows and amazing mattresses. You can always upgrade to the value-plus Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, which has top of the line family pools and a great food court, but I can tell you that Pop Century is my favorite value. I’ve stayed there 3 out of the 4 last times I’ve visited! Be sure to grab the colored Pop Art cheesecake for dessert after dinner in Everything Pop; it’s far out!

If I can help you explore another Disney Resort Hotel, or clue you in to the Movies Under the Stars, please let me know. You’ve got a friend in me! ~ Lindsey P.
