Staying at the All Star Music Resort.. is there a problem putting strollers on and off the bus Would it be better to rent them instead of bringing them? Congrats Amber for being chosen for the Mom's panel. THANKS!

Hi Jeannie!  Thank you so much for your kind words! I have been having a great time answering question on the panel.

To take your stroller on a Disney bus, you will have to fold it up and carry it on. However, in my opinion it is worth this small hassle to have access to your own stroller while at the airport and walking around your resort. The other factor when deciding whether to rent or bring your own stroller is the price of a rental. Rental strollers at Disney are pretty expensive. A single stroller is $15 a day and a double is $31. If you pay up front for a rental for your length of stay, there is a slight discount - $13 a day for a single and $27 for a double. You can read more about renting and prices HERE.

We always bring our own strollers from home. They are more comfortable for the kids and I like to have them for the reasons I mentioned previously - especially if your room is a bit of a walk from the bus stop at your resort. After a long day at the parks, it's not much fun to carry your tired kids along with any bags you may have.

To ride the monorail or ferry boats, you will not have to fold your stroller. Your children can remain in their strollers for these rides.

I hope this helps you decide whether to bring or rent! Have a wonderful time on your upcoming vacation!
