    we are staying at the all star music resort, and have booked a dinner at chef mickey, how much time should we give ourselves to get there using the shuttle transportation

    Hi Kelly!  How exciting!  Chef Mickey's is my family's favorite restaurant!  Good food and great fun!
    To get to Chef Mickey's using shuttle transportation you will have to take a bus to the Magic Kingdom and then use the monorail system from Magic Kingdom to Disney's Contemporary Resort.  (the monorail is as much fun as a ride!).  Because of bus times and possible wait times for the monorail, you should probably allow at least an hour and a half for transportation.  If you get there early, go ahead and check in at Chef Mickey's and you can browse some of the fun shops at the Contemporary Resort.
    Another option would be to plan spending that day at the Magic Kingdom, and then when it is about 40 minutes until your dining reservation, you can exit Magic Kingdom and jump on the monorail from there.
