We are staying at All Star Music and have a 7:30 am Kona Cafe reservation before heading to MK which opens at 9:00 am. What time should we be at the bus stop and do we need to request an early dining bus to get to our reservation on time?

Hi Lori! Welcome BACK to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thank you for continuing to reach out to us for assistance with your vacation plans over and over again.

Transportation from all Walt Disney World Resort Hotels to any of the four amazing theme parks, two water parks, the Ticket and Transportation Center, or Disney Springs does not start for the day until about an hour to 45 minutes before each parks daily opening time. Also keep in mind that the Complimentary Resort Buses only travel from hotel to Park/Disney Springs and not from Hotel to Hotel.

Your best option to make your breakfast reservation at the Kona Cafe from Disney's All-Star Music Resort would be to hire a taxi, which can usually be found around the parking area of your hotels lobby. Do ask at check-in if taxis usually hang out in the mornings or if you'll have to call one about 15 minutes prior to the time you'd like to leave so it will be there and ready to whisk you away to breakfast.

Also ask what time a bus to the Ticket and Travel Center generally visits and then leaves your hotel. Since buses don't go from hotel to hotel, there is a chance that a bus to the T&TC, which connects travelers to all parks and hotels via another bus, would be running earlier. Then, because your reservation is at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort which is located next door to the Ticket and Travel Center, you could walk to your reservation.

I do hope you're getting excited about your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation, Lori! And save me a piece of Kona's famous Tonga Toast!
