One of the great perks of staying at a
Walt Disney World Resort hotel is the ability to charge purchases to your room account--including the little but delicious ones!
As long as you have a credit card on file in your resort reservation, you can charge to that room account throughout your stay. For my family, we enjoy the ease of doing so by using a
MagicBand+ for charges, but using
Disney MagicMobile service for purchases is also a breeze.
We love the ability to tour the parks and
Disney Springs without the burden of bags or wallets and charging to our room allows that to happen. No more worrying about leaving behind a credit card at a shop or having a wallet fall out of a pocket on Expedition Everest (ask me how many times that has happened to my husband). Just leave those safely stowed in your
All-Star Music Resort in-room safe and park hop footloose and fancy free!
Marjolaine, you can keep an eye on all you've charged to the room by looking at your
My Disney Experience app, too. There, just select the hamburger icon on the bottom right of the screen, then scroll down to Hotel Reservations; you'll see the option to view hotel charges thus far.
If your plans include a few hours of park hopping or shopping after your checkout time, you can still charge to that room account--just drop your bags with
Bell Services at All-Star Music and head out to enjoy a few more hours of fun. Those additional charges to your room will simply be added to your account. Bonus? No need to head to the front desk before heading home; you'll see your final, itemized account both in the app as well as in an email, and that total will be charged to your credit card on file. Easy peasy!
