Welcome to planDisney, Gemma. From one foolish mortal to another, there’s no turning back now. Your
Walt Disney World Resort vacation is getting closer.
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party (MNSSHP) is a special ticketed event on select nights throughout August, September, and October from 7 PM to midnight. The tickets are limited and range from $119 to $199 per ticket, plus tax (cost varies by date). These special tickets allow ticket-holders access to the Magic Kingdom beginning at 4 PM and do not require you to have a theme park reservation or standard admissions in addition to the special event ticket. On the select nights when MNSSHP takes place, the Magic Kingdom will close early, and Cast Members will start asking Guests without the special event ticket to exit the Park. Suppose you don't want to purchase the additional ticket and still want to enjoy the fireworks. In that case, I recommend you visit Disney's Hollywood Studios or EPCOT while MNSSHP takes place in the Magic Kingdom.
Fantasmic is fantastic, and
Luminous - The Symphony of Us is splendid.
Gemma, the happy haunts have received the sympathetic vibrations of your keyboard and are beginning to materialize, so if you’re interested in Trick-or-Treating throughout the Park, enjoying Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade, watching Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular fireworks show, and dancing with the Sanderson Sisters and other happy haunts, you can
check availability here. To purchase, you must call the Special Events number listed under the Walt Disney World Recreation and Dining section of the
telephone directory.
Let me know if you have any other Disney World vacation planning questions, dining recommendations, or other fun ideas to enjoy with your family!
