Boo to you, Chloe!
Welcome to planDisney, foolish mortal, and thank you for sending us this spooktacular question. I always love celebrating major holidays at the Walt Disney World Resort as they always go big in their celebrations, which makes your stay even more magical and unique!
Now, one thing I learned about the Walt Disney World Resort is that there are always unexpected activities on special holidays. For example, when I stayed at a
Disney Resort hotel for Easter, there were so many activities and surprises that had not been announced prior. Therefore, I would highly recommend keeping an eye out or asking the Cast Members at the front desk of your Resort if there will be any activities to look forward to. I have also seen other Guests bring decorations in the past to decorate the main window in their room, so that could be a fun way to get in the Halloween spirit! You could even stop by the
Emporium or your Resort's merchandise location to pick up some candy and Halloween treats.
If you have a dining or recreation reservation, also, you could visit
Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground! The Resort has its own
Halloween traditions that come back every year, and Guests always love to decorate their cabins and campgrounds. Indeed, Guests usually bring candy, so kids can go trick or treating at night around the campgrounds. In addition, Guest and Cast Members also participate in a golf cart parade every year, so that would be such a fun activity for the little ones!
I hope this was helpful, Chloe, and that you and your Ohana will have the best day ever on your next Disney vacation. If you have any other questions in the time leading up to your trip, please don't hesitate to reach back out. We are always happy to help fellow happy haunts!
Have a magical day, and happy Halloween!
