Hi Jody,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for your question. My family stayed at
Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort last year, and we loved seeing the colorful, larger-than-life icons from our favorite movies and exploring all the fun movie theming all around the resort.
DVD players are not available for rent at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort. My Mouseketeers like to unwind in the room and watch movies too, and we usually bring an iPad or laptop with us for this purpose. Your resort room will have a television, and there are a number of kid-friendly channels to choose from – on our last vacation, my kiddos and I got hooked on this adorable pet adoption show! Walt Disney World’s hotels also offer
free wireless internet access for Guests, so you’ll be able to stream movies to a wireless device.
Another fun resort amenity is
Movies Under the Stars, which is offered nightly, weather permitting, at each resort. Stop by your resort’s front desk for a Recreation Calendar, which will tell you the times and titles that are available during your stay. There’s something magical about snuggling up with a special snack and enjoying a movie together after all the excitement and energy of the theme parks.
I hope this helps you pack a little lighter, Jody! If you think of any more questions as you count down the days to your visit, please stop by and see us.
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
