We are staying at All Star Movies Resport 11/25 - 12/04 and have requested to be in the "Toy Story" Preferred section since my 5 year old is a fanatic about Toy Story. I worry that we won't get our request. Does it help to call ahead and make sur

    Hi Chris,

While room requests are never guaranteed, Disney does do their best to honor them (based on availability). Your best bet is to call the All Star Movies Resort directly at 407-939-7000 exactly 9 days prior to arrival and ask to speak with the "Room Assigner". They don't get the arrival lists until that time, so it won't help to call them sooner than that. You can explain your desires to them and request that they "pre-assign" you in that section. When room location is really important to me, I also call again first thing in the morning on the day of arrival. I speak with the Front Desk and ask them to verify if our request is honored. Of course, things can change up until check-in, but it can't hurt to try.

Hope this helps and that your little Toy Story fan gets their wish,
