Hi! We are staying at the All Star Movies resorts and planned to use the bus transportation to get to and from the parks. However, I've heard the buses can run pretty slowly. Is there a faster way to get to/from the parks? Thank you!

    Hiya Courtney!

Welcome to planDisney! I love staying at Disney's All-Star Movies Resort and have a stay planned again for this year! My kids love the theming and it truly feels like you are in Walt Disney World Resort with all the characters and colors.

Complimentary Bus Transportation is included with your stay at this Resort. In the mornings, you will find bus services starts about 45 minutes before the Park you want to visit opens. Look for the bus stops located near the entrance to the Resort. They will be labeled with destinations such as "Magic Kingdom Park" and "Disney's Animal Kingdom." The busses do run almost continuously and I have waited usually no more than 30 minutes for one to arrive. In the mornings, it's even less as Disney World knows guests want to get to the Parks! Returning to your Resort you will find at each of the Parks designated spots for each of the Resorts. Now this is where it can usually take a long time as everyone is leaving at the same time it seems. Once the nighttime spectacular is over you will see the crowds begin to move towards the exits. The line for each bus service for the Resorts can seem long but Cast Members work their hardest to manage the loads as best as they can. I have waited sometimes 45 minutes for a bus from the Parks back to my Resort. My suggestion is to use the restrooms before you get on the line and have a fun game to help you pass the time.

Sometimes, I want to move faster and I have chosen and recommend the following options:

-Minnie Van Service: You can hail this service via the Lyft app and it can be used to transport you throughout Walt Disney World property. Driven by some great Cast Members and included with 2 complimentary car seats I found this service to be great when my kids were very little. The best part of this service is that the Minnie Van can drop you off much closer to the Park entrance and your room than a regular rideshare service.

-Rideshares such as Uber or Lyft. Every Park has a rideshare pick-up area where you can meet your hailed vehicle. They will pick you up and drop you off at the front of your Resort.

I hope this helps! If you have more questions please let us know!

    Happy Planning!
