    We are staying in All Star Movies Resort and I know we can ride the bus to the Magic Kingdom. My preschoolers want to ride the monorail just as a joy ride, not necessarily to go anywhere. How do we get to the monorail from our resort?

    Hi there Elizabeth,

    Joy riding on the Monorail is completely normal!  In my opinion, this magical train of the future is an attraction all its own and no trip to Disney would be complete without a smooth ride around "The World."

    There are two Monorail systems at Walt Disney World, one makes a loop between the Magic Kingdom and three of the resort hotels.  The other travels between the Transportation and Ticket Center and Epcot.  

    To board the monorail, you will need to board an All Star bus headed to the Magic Kingdom!  You will be dropped off at the front of Magic Kingdom.  From here, you can head on over to the Resort Monorail station to ride the loop which will return to the Magic Kingdom.

    To ride to Epcot via Monorail, you can travel by Ferry boat or Monorail and disembark at the Transportation and Ticket Center where you will be able to board the Monorail to Epcot!
