We will be staying at the All Star Movies Resort in August. We want to have breakfast at Chef Mickey located at the Contemporary Resort. Can we get there from our resort and if so what is the best way to get there from where we are staying?

Hi Randall, Chef Mickey's is a great choice for breakfast!

Using Disney's wonderful transportation systems, you can get from one place to another pretty easily. The buses don't travel from Resort to Resort, so you will take a bus bound for the Magic Kingdom. Once there you have two choices:

You can walk over to the monorail station (just a short distance from the bus stops). Riding the monorail is always a fun experience, and the fact that it goes right through the Contemporary is pretty cool. You would exit the monorail at the Contemporary and head down to Chef Mickey's from there.

The other option is that you can walk from the Magic Kingdom bus stop to the Contemporary. It is a relatively quick walk (about 10 minutes).

Plan on arriving at the bus stop at All Star Movies about an hour before your reservation time. This is because the buses come approximately every 20 minutes. You never know if you just missed one (so will be waiting for a while), or if one is coming around the bend (so you will arrive with plenty of time to spare). You need to check in 10-15 minutes prior to your reservation time.

Hope this helps and have a magical vacation!
