Hi! We are staying at All Star Movies. I have a 8:10 reservation at Bibbidy Bobbidy Boutique. What transportation should we use to get there and what time should we plan to leave our hotel. How do I get into the parks that early since they aren’t open?

Hey, Chrissy! Welcome to planDisney, and thank you so much for stopping by with your question! I love that you're planning ahead for an early Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique appointment. An 8:10 a.m. reservation is such a magical way to start the day, but it does require a little strategy to make sure everything runs smoothly.

Since you're staying at Disney's All-Star Movies Resort, you'll want to give yourself plenty of time to travel to Magic Kingdom. Even though the park may not officially be open yet, Guests with early dining reservations or Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique appointments are absolutely allowed to enter. Cast Members will verify your reservation and escort you toward Cinderella Castle, so you won't be left wandering around outside wondering what to do.

For timing, I recommend planning to leave your resort about one hour before your reservation. That means aiming for around 7:10 a.m. to be safe. You need to factor in transportation time, the security checkpoint, and the walk from the entrance of Magic Kingdom up to the castle. Those few extra minutes can make all the difference in keeping the morning calm instead of rushed.

Disney buses typically begin running about one hour before official park opening, including Early Theme Park Entry. In your case, that would likely put the first buses departing around 7:30 a.m. In my honest opinion, relying on that first bus is risky. There can already be a line forming, and there's no guarantee you'll board the very first one. If you miss it, you will simply not have enough buffer.

To make this stress-free, I would strongly suggest booking a rideshare service directly from the resort lobby area. Uber or Lyft will get you there quickly and reliably, and it gives you full control over your departure time.

Chrissy, with a little extra planning, your princess morning will feel smooth and magical from start to finish. If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to reach back out to us. We're always available and more than happy to help here at planDisney!

    Warm hugs,
