Hi Katie! Welcome to planDisney.
I love hearing that you'll be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort with your mom. I have made so many special memories with my parents at The Most Magical Place on Earth, and cannot wait until we can be there together again. You are going to have such a great time this November!
Your mom's
ECV will need to be stored in your resort hotel room in the evenings, as their storage area can't accommodate ECV parking. Having stored strollers and Pack 'n Plays in our hotel rooms over the years, I know it can make for a tight squeeze, but the ECV will fit inside the room and will be able to be charged overnight. I do recommend asking at the front desk when you arrive if they have any pro tips for where and how to park the ECV to make the most of the space - the resort hotel Cast Members often have great advice and have seen lots of scenarios.
Katie, it's a good idea to review the
available services for Guests with mobility disabilities at Disney Resorts Collection hotels in advance of your visit. I also recommend looking at the
list of services for Guests with mobility disabilities in the theme parks, which features a helpful list of attractions and their accessibility notes. There's also contact information for the Disability Services Cast Members in case you have any questions or concerns.
Have so much fun staying at
Disney's All-Star Movies Resort! It's such fun to explore this resort hotel and feel like you're right inside classic Disney movies. Check out the bakery case at the
World Premiere Food Court - they always seem to have a tasty cupcake option or some other sweet treat!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney, and please come back and see us should you have any further questions as you plan and dream.
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
