I am staying at All STar Movies and have a car. I WANT to be at MK at 7am when it opens what is the best way and fast way to get there? Is the bus really a good option? Suggestions please....

Disney transportation normally starts operating one hour before park opening and continues operation for one hour after park closing. The Disney buses usually pick up and drop off at the resorts every 20 min or so. You have three transportation options to get to Magic Kingdom from All Star Movies:

    1. Utilize Disney bus from your Resort to the front gates of Magic Kingdom. This is actually the quickest and easiest way to get there (averaging about 20-30 min)

    2. Drive your car to the Ticket and Transportation Center (TTC) and then take a monorail or Ferry Boat to the Magic Kingdom entrance (averages about 40-50 min)

    3. Get a taxi to drop you off at the entrance to Magic Kingdom. This method is quick but will cost you extra money

My son and I have used all three of these transportation methods to get to the Magic Kingdom. They all work just fine but some take more time or cost extra money.

If you get to Magic Kingdom about 15 minutes before it officially opens, you get to see the rope drop ceremony where Mickey Mouse and friends open the Magic Kingdom. Who knows you may even get to throw some Pixie Dust to open the Park as well! The daily Park opening ceremonies are one of Walt Disney World's hidden treasures and only those brave enough to get up early on vacation get to witness it!

I hope you have a magical day at the Magic Kingdom!
