We are staying at All Star Movie resort. We want to go to beach one of the days where is the closest place to go? How far is it

Disney's All-Star Movie Resort is a great choice. I love the giant bucket of soldiers stairs and Herbie the Love Bug.

To head to the beach from Walt Disney World Resort you have two choices:  Gulf Coast,Tampa, about 70 miles or Atlantic Coast, Daytona, about 75 miles. The Gulf is beautiful with calm waters, but as a former resident of Florida's First Coast I prefer the Atlantic. If you are heading home to North Carolina on I-95 Daytona Beach will not be out of your way. If you want to go to the beach during the middle of your stay Tampa might be a little different from the East Coast beaches you are more familiar with in North Carolina. Take I-4 E to Daytona; take I-4 W to Tampa.

Enjoy your time at the fabulous Walt Disney World Resort!
