We are staying at the all star movie resort, does the food court offer a to go option to eat in the room? I was thinking of eating breakfast in the room to save time while everyone gets ready.

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Nicole!

Earlier this morning, I was looking at the “Memories” app on my phone, and on this day last year, I was eating a Mickey waffle at Boma - Flavors of Africa. How do I know? Because I took a picture of it, of course! Mickey waffles are a must during a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort, and your question has me dreaming of my next bite of that magical breakfast food!

I’m happy to report that you’ll absolutely be able to get breakfast “to go” at your resort’s food court or Quick-Service dining location. At Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort, that would be the World Premiere Food Court, which offers a great breakfast selection. When ordering to-go, meals come on the standard Disney Parks paper plates with a plastic topper to keep food hot on your walk back to your room. You can even Mobile Order for this location, making it extra-convenient – just use your My Disney Experience mobile app to order, walk over, pick up your meal, and then head back to your room to dig in!

Nicole, my family often brings or orders groceries for breakfasts in our room. It’s an easy way to save time and money on our vacations, and we can serve up cereal, fruit, yogurt, and other breakfast foods while we’re all showering, putting on sunscreen, and getting ready to let the magic begin. We will still plan a fun breakfast or two in the theme parks or at a character breakfast, but eating before we hit the parks means we are energized and ready to head straight to our first attraction. If you’re going to go this route, be sure to bring or order bowls and utensils, as those won’t be found in your room. For extra convenience, we also order snacks and on-the-go breakfasts like granola bars so we can eat while walking to the bus or waiting in an attraction queue.

Enjoy your stay at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort, Nicole! Don’t miss the delicious cupcakes in the World Premiere Food Court – I’m just amazed by the creativity and talent of Disney’s pastry chefs, and it’s always fun to see what they’ve dreamed up. Bon appétit!

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
    Robyn
