We will be staying at the All Star Movie Resort at the end of the month. Could you please tell me if we are better off driving or taking the transportation provided by the resort to get to MK and AK? We will only be at each for one day. Thank You.

    Hi, Jennifer!

For the Animal Kingdom, I would drive.  I like to get to the park early, park up front and dash straight to Expedition Everest.

When heading to the Magic Kingdom, I use the bus.  When driving to the Magic Kingdom, you need to park in the main lot, take a tram to the Transportation and Ticket Center, then the monorail or ferry boat to the park (all of this takes quite a while!)  If you take the resort bus, you will conveniently be dropped off right at the front gates.

Final answer:  Animal Kingdom:  DRIVE!   Magic Kingdom:  BUS!

Hope this helps!  Have a great couple of days in the parks at Walt Disney World!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
