If we are staying at the all star movie resort and doing the dining plan do we have to get park tickets thru Disney also, or can I get them out of walt Disney world where I can get them cheaper?

    Hi Lindsey,

To obtain the Disney Dining Plan you need to purchase a Magic Your Way package for each member of your party that includes a resort stay and a park ticket for at least one day. Your dining plan entitlements are based on the number of nights you stay at Disney's All-Star Movie Resort rather than your theme park admissions. You could buy one day tickets for everyone in your family with your package from Walt Disney World and then purchase additional days from a different source.

If you decide to buy tickets from an outside vendor, be cautious and only use a reputable one such as AAA or Undercover Tourist.  Also crunch the numbers to see how much money you actually will be saving. Since your cost per day drops the more days you add to your tickets, buying a two day ticket from a nonDisney seller plus a one day ticket with your MYW package might not be cheaper than buying a three day pass from Walt Disney World.
