I am staying at All Star my first night and then changing to Caribbean Beach Resort for the rest of the trip. On the day I switch hotels, I am going to the parks early in the AM, can the resort transfer my luggage to the new hotel for me?

    Hi Amy!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. You’ve stopped by with a great question, and I am so happy I can help answer it!

I love to experience “split-stays” when visiting the Walt Disney World Resort. It allows me to experience different Resort hotels and all their unique amenities in one trip. With so many great places to stay, this helps us to decide among our favorite Resort hotels!

One of the great things about this split-stay is that Disney has thought ahead to make the experience easy and enjoyable. On your check-out day from your stay at your first Resort hotel, you will need to pack your belongings before heading out to your favorite Theme Park. You can then call Bell Services to pick up your luggage, or you can drop off your luggage to Bell Services yourself. The cast members will be happy to help facilitate the transfer of your luggage to Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort. The process of moving your actual luggage to your new Resort hotel will take a few hours. I typically find that my luggage is available in the afternoon. Once you have checked-in and are back at your new room, call Bell Services, and they will bring up your luggage. The transfer of luggage is entirely free. However, it is customary to provide gratuities to the Cast Members that assist you.

During your stay at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, make sure you take full advantage of the new Disney Skyliner Transportation. Not only are the Gondola’s beautifully themed and spacious, but they also offer beautiful views and an efficient way to travel within the Walt Disney World Resort.

I hope that you enjoy your split-stay as much as I do!
