We're staying in a standard room at AOA for a week in August. I've heard there are no coffeemakers in those rooms, but I need to drink several cups a day for medical reasons. Is it ok to bring my own coffeepot?

Hey there, Kimberly. Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

I think you are really going to enjoy staying at Disney's Art of Animation Resort. The standard Little Mermaid rooms are just adorable. Be sure to have your camera out and ready while walking around the resort, there are so many cute picture opportunities.

Due to safety concerns, Guests aren't allowed to bring their own kitchen appliances from home - including coffee makers. You also won't find a coffee maker in these rooms but a fresh cup of joe is never too far away. You can find coffee at the Landscape of Flavors food court served all day long. This area is generally open from about 6:30 a.m. until midnight each day. If you don't want to shell out the cash for each individual cup of coffee, I highly recommend purchasing the refillable mug. For $18.99 you can fill your mug up with coffee, soda and tea for the length of your stay. These mugs are refillable at all of the Walt Disney World Resort Hotels.

I hope this helps gives you some ideas for your vacation. If you have any other questions, please feel free to come back and ask.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
