    Staying in Standard room in AKL. Heard the hallways are very long to get to some rooms. Am I able to request a room closer in or midway?

    Hello, Cari,

    While there are not any guarantees, you are welcome to make requests.  If I were you, I'd request a standard view room near the lobby, which can be done by calling the Animal Kingdom Lodge at 407-938-3000 and asking to speak to the back office or room assignment department at least 4 days  but no more than 10 days in advance.  

    Have a wonderful trip and enjoy the resort; it is one of my favorites!
