    I am staying in a standard Little Mermaid room at AOA. I take a med every day that needs to be in the fridge. Do I need to request one for my meds or does the room have one. First time staying there and on site, so never needed to ask before! THANKS!

    Welcome to planDisney! Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation countdown is rapidly approaching and I am so excited for you! 

    Disney's Art of Animation Resort is such a fun resort to stay at!  Wonderfully themed and the rooms are so large! I loved that there are two full bathrooms and a mini kitchenette area. This space was great for my family as a place for preparing our morning bowl of cereal and oatmeal before we began our day. Now, I did confirm and found that there is something called a "Beverage Cooler" included in the room at no additional charge. According to the specifications on the cooler, it can cool to 41 degrees Fahrenheit and above. The size of the unit is approximately 18 inches wide by 25 inches high by 22 inches deep. It is recommended, however, that Guests contact the Front Desk if they need additional cooling assistance. I hope that this temperature is cold enough for your needs. 

    Did you know that if you needed to take your medication with you into the Parks you can store them safely such as at baby care centers and first aid centers? Just speak to a Cast Member when you arrive at the Parks and they will guide you to the best location. Just an FYI, loose or dry ice is not permitted in the Parks. You can use a reusable ice pack, however! I do hope this helps and that you have a wonderful time!
