Hello Jaynee, and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. It’s great to hear that one of our long-time guests are planning their next vacation.
Saratoga Springs is one of my favorite resorts, even though I am not a DVC member, I love the equestrian theme throughout the resort. One of my favorite things about
Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort is the
bus transportation. There are five bus stops on the resort bus loop, and we usually request a room near one of our favorite bus stops.
When the buses transport guests to theme parks, they will stop at the following bus stops: The Grandstand, The Carousel, The Paddock, Congress Park, and The Springs which is actually the stop at the main building. Keep in mind that bus routes are subject to change. It typically takes about 10-15 minutes to get to The Springs if you get on the bus at The Grandstand. If your driver has to load or unload a guest in a wheelchair or ECV, it may take a few more minutes. After the bus leaves the Grandstand, it will leave the resort and you will be on your way to your theme park for the day. When you return “home” the bus will also drop off guests at their stop in the same order. If you have a question, ask your driver. There has been an update to the
My Disney Experience Mobile app that will now let you see when the next bus will arrive at your resort that is going to your destination. This takes the guesswork out of trying to figure out when to head to the bus stop as you are getting ready to start your day. I hope that helps with your planning. If you have any more questions please come back and visit us again.
See ya real soon,
Andrea
