We are staying at the sports hotel, but want to use 1 of our stir down meal pots. At port orleans resort ( one of the restaurants), can we make reservations there and will the bus takes us there from our resort and back? What are the hours the bus runs?

    Hi Elissa!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Thanks for posting your question about dining at Walt Disney World Resort hotel restaurants.

You most certainly may use one of your Disney Dining Plan table-service credits to dine at one of the amazing restaurants found at hotels throughout Walt Disney World Resort property. That's one of my favorite things to do while vacationing there. Just be sure to call (407) WDW-DINE, or (407) 939-3463, in advance to make reservations for any table-service restaurants you'd like to try. You can call up to 180 days prior to your arrival at Walt Disney World Resort.

There are no complimentary Disney buses that take guests directly from Disney's All-Star Sports Resort to Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside. However, I'll be happy to share with you an easy, free way to get there. Hop on an Epcot-bound bus at your home resort. When you reach Epcot, transfer to a bus headed to Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside. (The buses to the theme parks run from 45 minutes prior to park opening until one hour after park closing.) It's an easy and enjoyable route.

If you need a direct pathway between your resort and your destination, you may consider downloading the Lyft app to your mobile phone and then hiring a Minnie Van for a quick hop over to Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside.

Wishing you many magical memories on your upcoming trip,
    Jill
