Hi Donna!
One awesome benefit of staying at
Shades of Green at Walt Disney World Resort is that you'll have complimentary bus transportation to all four Walt Disney World theme parks during your stay. Most buses depart every hour on the half hour, and bus service begins thirty minutes prior to park opening. You'll be provided with a bus schedule at check-in, so you'll know exactly when to head to the bus stop.
The best and easiest way to get to
Disney's Boardwalk from your resort would be to take a bus to Disney's Hollywood Studios, then catch a water taxi over to the Boardwalk. There are several great restaurants to choose from around the Boardwalk, including: Big River Grille and Brewing Works,
Flying Fish, and Trattoria al Forno. There are also wonderful restaurants located in the neighboring resort hotels: Disney's Swan & Dolphin,
Disney's Beach Club Resort and
Disney's Yacht Club Resort. I personally love stopping by
Beaches & Cream Soda Shop for their Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup!
To answer your second question, yes, if you wanted to dine at one of the restaurants located inside the
Epcot theme park, you would need a valid park ticket for admission.
I hope this helps with your planning - have a magical day! - Diane W.
