    Hi there! We are staying at SOG and have an 8:20 ADR at Chef Mickey's on Nov 7. Could you tell us the best way to get to the Contemporary and how long it might take? Thanks!

    My family stayed at Shades of Green last December, Stephanie.  During our stay there, we found that the Shades of Green buses weren't always the quickest method of transportation.  The good news, however, is that Shades of Green guests are within walking distance of both Disney's Polynesian resort and the Ticket and Transportation Center (the hub of WDW travel).  My recommendation would be to walk to the Polynesian and take the monorail around to the Contemporary.  You should allow fifteen minutes for the walk to the Polynesian and then an additional fifteen minutes for the monorail ride.  I hope that helps!
