Hi Heather,
Welcome back to planDisney! I am excited to see that you are planning a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort!
You are spot on in planning to make
advanced dining reservations right on the 60-day mark prior to arrival. Since it sounds like you have a Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservation, that 60-day mark is determined by your resort hotel stay and you can
make dining reservations for the length of stay up to 10 days. So, it sounds like you are good to go!
As you consider those advanced dining reservations, I hope you have a few favorite dining locations. On our last visit, we dined at three of our favorites, Be Our Guest Restaurant, Cinderella's Royal Table, and California Grill. At Cinderella's Royal Table and California Grill, we requested and were lucky to get seated at window tables. The views from California Grill are spectacular.
Remember to make dining reservations in the parks where you have park pass reservations. If you have theme park tickets with the
Park Hopper® Option, park hopping depends on park capacity at the time and having a dining reservation does not guarantee park admission. I also recommend using
Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering. Just double-check the pick-up time for your order. On our last visit we logged into the
My Disney Experience Mobile App to mobile order one day while in Disney's Hollywood Studios and the pick-up time was going to be two hours from the time we were ordering.
Heather, as you continue to make your plans know that if you are unable to secure an advanced dining reservation, you can also try
Mobile Dine Walk-up Availability. Of course, you can always continue to try to make an advanced dining reservation. Cancellations do happen! We are so excited to welcome you to an
Incredible Disney Day.
Magic and memories,
Donyell
