Mom and Daughter at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort Room

    We are staying on site 12/14-12/23, have MVMCP tickets for 12/17. Skipping waterparks and have 5 day hopper. Which parks would you suggest on what day for that time of year? Travelling with husband and two children (aged 6 and 9)?

    I absolutely love visiting Walt Disney World Resort in December, the decorations and festive spirit around the Theme Parks and Resorts are simply magical!  I tend to schedule our time using the Theme Park Hours and Calendar, and according to Extra Magic Hours, special hours where a select Theme Park is open for Guests staying on Walt Disney World Resort Property only.  

    December 14: Get settled into your Resort and explore all it has to offer.
    December 15: Disney's Hollywood Studios; Extra Magic Hours Scheduled for 8:00 - 10:00 pm.
    December 16: Disney's Animal Kingdom; Scheduled Extra Magic Hours for 8:00 - 9:00 am.  Late afternoon, my family and I like to head over to another Theme Park as well.  Magic Kingdom would be a good choice as there are Extra Magic Hours scheduled from 9:00 - 11:00 pm.
    December 17: Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.  Spend the day enjoying your Walt Disney World Resort and then head on over to Magic Kingdom.  Guests with tickets for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party will be allowed entry into Magic Kingdom Park as early as 4:00.
    December 18-19: Enjoy Downtown Disney, be sure to visit DisneyQuest Indoor Interactive Theme Park and Splitsville Luxury Lanes!
    December 20: EPCOT; There are Extra Magic Hours from 9:30 - 11:30 pm. 
    December 21: This is a day where I would spend the time exploring attractions that we have not had the time to experience.  It may involve heading to a few Theme Parks, I tend to ask my family which attractions they would like to see, or experience again.
    December 22: Magic Kingdom Park; With Extra Magic Hours, the Theme Park is open from 8:00 am until 12:00 am!
