    Staying on site mid August. When should I do early check in online Coming from Canada And how can I order the special magic bands

    Hi Susanne, 

    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question, my fellow Canadian!

    I often opt for Online Check-In when I stay at a Disney Resort Hotel, because I love the convenience of knowing that everything is in order well before my vacation even begins. If you’re arriving for a stay in mid-August, then Online Check-In should be available for you now.

    As for the Premium MagicBand options available to order now for a small extra fee, from what I understand this option has been so popular that those MagicBands often sell out in minutes when they get restocked over at My Disney Experience. I’ve also heard that there can be a bit of a glitch when Canadians try to order them for their upcoming stay. My recommendation: switch your page’s language to “English - United States” and you might have better luck that way. If you still don’t see any premium MagicBands, don't give up! Keep checking a few times a week before your vacation and that option may pop up again. And, don’t forget, because your MagicBands can’t be shipped to your Canadian home address but rather will be ready for you to pick up at your Disney Resort Hotel when you arrive, you can keep checking up until about a week before your arrival before placing your final order.
