We will be staying on site during the week. Wondering if we take advantage of early morning hours can you get fast passes then or must we wait till park opens? Also should we go ahead and go straight to Radiator Springs Racers or get a fast pass?

Hello Celeste, welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Ahhh, the wonders of staying on-site! We love the many perks of staying at one of the Disneyland Resort hotels, and an important one for my family is being able to enjoy the parks during the Extra Magic Hour

Disney Fastpass service is available when the parks officially open for all Guests. With Radiator Springs Racers being such a popular, well-loved ride, I suggest taking advantage of Extra Magic Hour and riding it before the general public. My kids love that ride, as well as Soarin' Over California. So during Extra Magic Hour at California Adventure, we try to ride these before the rope drops for everyone else. Afterwards, when the Fastpass begins distribution, we grab tickets to ride Radiator Springs Racers again later on in the day. If possible, try to get a Fastpass for the evening. Radiator Springs Racers is stunning at night!

I hope this information helps in planning your upcoming trip. You and your family will have an Unforgettable adventure at the Disneyland Resort!

Greetings from Northern California! I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
