Welcome, Jennifer!
I am happy to report Monorail transportation begins operations each day approximately one hour prior to park opening and one hour after park closing. However, and please let me know if I'm reading your question incorrectly, it sounds like you are looking to take the Monorail from Shades of Green® to Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa for your magical breakfast?
Shades of Green® is a wonderful resort with a fabulous location in the Magic Kingdom Area, but the Resort Monorail Loop does not serve this resort. For more information on
The Monorail Resort Loop stops, select the highlighted link. If your post-breakfast plans include a day at Magic Kingdom Park, you will be able to take the Monorail from Disney's Grand Floridian to Magic Kingdom.
For transportation from Shades of Green® to the Grand Floridian, you have a couple of options based on your dining time.
• Take the Shady Shuttle to the edge of the resort's property, cross the street, and follow the walkway between Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort. You can request a shuttle at the bell stand outside the lobby area. I'd allow about 20 minutes in travel time.
• Uber or Lyft. With the distance being under a mile, it should only cost a few dollars for door-to-door service.
• If you wanted to change your dining reservation to a later time, you could take the complementary bus transportation available from Shades of Green® to Magic Kingdom, and then transfer to a boat launch from Magic Kingdom back to the Grand Floridian - keep in mind this route could take up to an hour.
I hope this helps in planning your morning, Jennifer! Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
Saluting you and your family!
Faith
