We are staying at shades of green. I have a 3yr old and 15 month old. I am also pregnant. Is it worth it to walk to the Polynesian to ride the monorail without having to colapse the stroller? We are also planning on loading the basket with water and snacks

My family of six stayed at the Shades of Green this past December.  During our stay we walked to the Polynesian daily to take advantage of the monorail.  For us it was worth it because we found the transportation options at Shades of Green to be limiting and time consuming.  That said, you will be doing a lot of walking in and around the parks during your vacation and--especially considering that you're pregnant--you may or may not want to add mileage with a daily walk to and from the Polynesian.  At a leisurely pace, the walk is about fifteen minutes, which isn't bad alone, but when added to a lot of walking through the parks it could easily be considered the straw that broke the camel's back.  If I were you, I'd just keep in mind as an option during your stay and use it when you don't mind the walking.  I hope that helps!

I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
