Hi! I am staying at Shades of Green and have a reservation at cape may for breaskfast. I am trying to figure out the best way there. Would I take a bus to Hollywood Studios and then Skyliner to beach club?

    Hiya, Rachelann! Welcome to planDisney!

It looks like your Walt Disney World adventure is right around the corner. How exciting!
At 25,000 total acres (or roughly 43 square miles), even the most seasoned Disney traveler may need directions from time to time. So let’s find the best route and get you on your way!

The best tool for navigating Walt Disney World is the My Disney Experience mobile app. It provides step-by-step directions to most locations on property, and it will display all the available Disney transportation options based on your starting and ending points. I know Shades of Green isn’t searchable in My Disney Experience (it’s owned and operated by the Department of Defense), but I still think it’s a great resource to have in your pocket.

There are a couple of options for getting from Shades of Green to Cape May Cafe at the Beach Club Resort. Taking the bus from your resort to Hollywood Studios and then the Skyliner to the EPCOT station next to Beach Club is a good route. You could also take a water taxi directly from Hollywood Studios to Beach Club, and depending on whether there is a wait for the Skyliner, it may be the quicker option (water taxis begin operation 45 minutes before park opening). You might also consider going from Shades of Green to the Magic Kingdom and then taking a bus to Beach Club, but the Skyliner certainly offers a better view.

Your best option will vary depending on the exact date and time you're traveling, so I’d recommend checking your route the night before and morning of your reservation. Likely the quickest way, which won’t show up on the My Disney Experience app, is to book a Minnie Van through the Lyft app.

I hope this information helps you navigate your upcoming vacation, Rachelann. Make your way back to planDisney if you have any other questions. We’re always happy to help!

    Magical travels!
